A leading global financial institution partnered with Coterie Spark to plan a five-day, nine-city market tour throughout the United States. The primary goal was face-to-face engagement with local managers at the employee meetings in targeted regions.
Planning
The client engaged Coterie Spark approximately one month prior to the tour. Given this time frame, one of the challenges presented was finding an appropriate venue available in each city for the employee meetings, while working within the executive team’s travel schedule. Attention to detail was key in the success of the tour from minute-to-minute travel arrangements, specific executive needs and accommodating meeting schedule changes in each city. Coterie Spark coordinated logistics with over 45 vendors with a total attendance of more than 2,000 guests.
Execution
Coterie Spark organized three teams to execute the logistics for their respective cities. As the tour progressed, each meeting brought new developments and revisions to the table. Each team kept in constant contact with one another to ensure that the meetings were produced seamlessly and all changes were incorporated. As a result of the success of the tour, the client requested an additional 10th meeting to reach out to a broader management base, which Coterie Spark orchestrated smoothly within two weeks.
