One of our favorite mottos at Coterie Spark is “We Go Where You Go.”

It comes from our love of traveling, venue scouting, hotel sourcing, and gaining intimate knowledge of your host city. Coterie Spark has produced annual meetings internationally and in 42 U.S. cities. Every time we’re hired to produce a meeting in a new location, our team is eager to hit the road and start exploring.

Immersing ourselves in a city’s history and culture isn’t just fun and games; it’s essential to producing a memorable conference. Attendees don’t RSVP to faraway events to eat the same food, shmooze with the same people, and visit the same old places they do at home. They register and travel long distances because they want adventure and they’re looking to network.

Every time a client asks for help in picking a host city, we let our imaginations run wild. We tap into guests’ personalities and preferences to find a perfect match. Of course, booking a great destination is only the tip of the iceberg—we then have to produce an experience that resonates with your organization, industry, and the host city’s culture.

Quick note: Picking an exotic location for your meeting isn’t mandatory. Hosting in your hometown can be just as thrilling if you’re able to keep guests surprised and entertained. Every city has a unique history and culture that we can tap into; cultural immersion does not require airfare. In fact, clients often tell us after that we ended up knowing more about their city than they did.
